Mental Wellness for Workers in Aging Services

The disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on older adults brings with it a high impact on those who serve them. This session is for anyone working in the field of aging who would like additional support and training to buoy their well-being during this challenging time. This includes nurses, social workers, case managers, activities professional, home health aides, and more. Over the course of these sessions, we will:

  • Discuss burnout prevention, compassion fatigue, and self-care
  • Get help with managing stress during even the hardest times
  • Discuss grief and learn new ways to help cope with our losses
  • Engage in brief guided relaxation and contemplation practices to restore energy and a sense of purpose]

DATES: Attend as many or as few sessions as you like. Register just once and you will receive Zoom links to all sessions. These sessions are weekly so you are still able to participate.
